Exceptional Writing Desk, Louis Quinze, Rococo, France, 1860 – 1880.

An imposing Louis XV ebonized writing table with finely chased gilt gold mounts. The stepped moulded rectangular top inset with the original gilt-tooled leather . The original suede inset is a true testimony of the long life of this beautiful table and underlines the authenticity, which is so important to an antique lover.
A neat piece of furniture for the office in the company or at home in excellent condition.

This furniture has been restored in our workshop – serviceability restored, technical defects repaired, woodwork carried out, damaged or missing wooden parts restored or replaced and glued back, the surface cleaned, primed with shellac, waxed using beeswax and polished.
